Back in Africa!
Our safari / “taxi ride” from JRO to Bunda was a lot different this time. We had a new driver, Leonard, who was older and more serious than Mushaka but also more skilled at both the off-road driving and finding us some cool animals. We were destroyed from the plane ride and somehow managed to sleep a few hours on the first day but we didn’t miss much as we took a shortcut through Ngorogoro without going through the crater.  We also took a different path up through the Serengeti and saw way more lions, including a huge pride of 17.

The entire safari was captivating once again, but I admit that by the time we reached Bunda, I was really happy it was over and excited to see my family.
